On this job we installed a white corrugated steel Boman and Kemp window well with ladder, plastic cover, steel grate, with a 30” x 60” WITAL European tilt and turn window. This was also installed in a very tight location with a chimney bump out in an outside corner, and also had a gutter downspout come in very close to the window well where we just extended the downspout so that water wouldn’t pour directly into the window well. There wasn’t an existing drain tile to tap into, so we also added a 1/3 hp Zoeller sump pump, and a backflow prevention valve to ensure that this window well would not ever flood. It was a very tight job access wise, as the neighbors house was within 8 feet of the clients house. This made everything more difficult to do with our machinery, however our mini excavator E 26 bobcat was able to get the job done efficiently. We Also have a M100 stand behind bobcat for moving dirt in tight spaces. After everything was done, we regraded the lawn, planted new grass seed, and laid straw down on the disturbed areas.
